While downtown recently I stopped by
The Central Condominium
and had enough time to tour the 2
available homes on he
10th floor, a studio and a two bedroom.
#1005 is a 2bedroom, two bath listed at
1067sf and features a private terrace an
two on -site parking spaces. #1006
is a studio foreclosure and a very good
value at the current price. The Central
Condominium is a 12 story
structure with 162 condo homes in the
midst of the Penn Quarter, just across
the street from the J. Edgar Hover
Building. The area surrounding the
Central has the total urban package.
There is shopping, dining,
entertainment, nightlife, the theatre,
the mall and the entire federal complex
are all a short walk away. And if you
choose to leave the area, there are
metro stops all over plus ZipCars , and 9th street's a
half block away allowing quick exits to
Maryland or Virginia.
The Walkscore is
good. Walk Score calculates the walkability
of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools,
parks, etc. The walk score for the Longfellow Flats Condominium is
92 on 0 to 100 scale,
meaning you can probably get by without owning a
car. |
