A few 5414 1st Pl NW – The Martha condos are for sale. Here’s a review of the building in Petworth and the condos I’ve previewed or shown (none are my listings). THE LOCATION The Martha is located at upper border of Petworth. It’s  blocks from the Red line Fort Totten Metro stop.  The Martha currently has a Transit Score of 91 and a Walk  Score of 66 . THE BUILDING

The Martha houses 20 condos one and two bedroom luxury condos.  The design of the homes remind me of one of those large columned residences with bedroom suites and large walk-through baths to roomy walk-in closets. The Martha is not one of those rehabs jobs (there are some great rehabs in Petworth also) but The Martha is brand new construction. Some say it over-the-top for this neighborhood.  Both of my clients who viewed The Martha were very impressed and miffed because they could only afford a one bedroom here and needed two.

THE CONDOS

All of the condos have 9′ ceilings, crown molding in-unit laundry hook-up, granite counters, walk-in closets. The appliances are stainless steel. The floors are hardwood in the open area with carpeted bedrooms. On-site garage parking can be purchased.
