One constant along U Street has been the infamous Ben's Chili Bowl and for good reason. if you haven't had the pleasure of one of Ben's delicacies please stop by at your earliest convenience. Personally I prefer the chili cheeseburger with cheese fries and a vanilla milkshake.

The average sales price for a one bedroom condo  in Capitol Hill  is about $400,000. A two-bedroom unit jumps the average price up to almost $560,000,  with a select few selling for between $600,000 and $800,000. As for single-family attached and detached homes, the average sales prices for a three-bedroom is around $772,000. The Cavern's Restaurant Mahogany has a variety of flavor, something for all. We are partial to the Cajun dishes - the Jambalaya and the Cajun Lamb Chops keeps us coming back.  

When we're in the mood to step up the pace, we head upstairs to LIV  (2003 11th St NW  202/299-0800), one of the U Street's   dance clubs. The atmosphere is loud and boisterous  with DJ's spinnin a mix of hip hop, top 40, house and contemporary tunes until 3 am on Saturday.
